Injection and nasal spray. Buserelin is a synthetic form of a hormone which occurs naturally in your body. It is used as part of some types of fertility treatment. It works by acting on the pituitary gland in your brain to stop the production of natural hormones that control the release of eggs from your ovaries.

2011-03-03 Am doing IVF @ the moment and decided to buy my fertility drugs privately to save money as am paying for my cycle. Instead of prescribing me 2 bottles of the Nasal spray Suprefact, my pharmacy gave me 2 packs which contain 4 bottles each instead of 2single pack. so yes I ended up with 8 bottles instead of 2 bottles & as I already paid for them, the pharmacy cannot give me a refund. I'm due to start downregging tomorrow and have been prescribed the suprefact nasal spray which I need to instil into each nostril 4 times a day.
